Apple: Cut the App and Switch Back to Google's Maps

Apple, what is going on with your Maps upgrade?

Recently, a software upgrade switched iPhones' default Maps feature from Apple-powered Google's maps to a new Apple creation.

Problem was, the upgrade's inaccuracy far outshone its novelty.

Some of the features the new Maps boasts are voice integration, turn-by-turn directions, and Flyover. But the bells and whistles don't make up for the fact that directions and general location searches showed up as unavailable or were just plain wrong.

Over 100 million people use Apple's Maps, but this isn't what they paid for. Apple's advice? Download outside apps and wait for improvements to Maps to clean up the mess.

Apple needs to prioritize the product customers originally bought by making sure they get the the iOS services they signed up for. Tell Apple to revert back to Google's maps until alternatives have significantly improved.
