2 Hours Free Parking In Mallow

The current parking situation in Mallow is a joke,it's driving people away from the town and spending their hard earned cash in other areas,which in turn, is slowly killing business for the town's traders
Some Cllrs may think that the small amount that the public pay,does not warrant people moving to other towns like Blackrock etc.,but after talking to many people in the area it certainly does,i.e not being able to relax and shop worrying that they have to get back to the car before the hour is up,or simply just dropping into town to fly into the shop for milk
So I would propose that if the town gave everyone the first two hours parking free,it would breath a new lease of life into town which simply is nearly on its knees
