STOP SELLING OUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITHOUT ASKING - FACEBOOK!!!

FACEBOOK has been selling member information disregarding privacy settings to third parties like 'profile engine' - allowing such companies to hold us on database using our core profile information from facebook - and making us searchable through 'google' ...

There is no way to change this from your profile privacy settings, even though facebook states that there is ... and the information featured on sites such as the one mentioned contain images and personal information that you may not wish to share in a database context.

The only way to disable the 'profile' which you do not 'own' on 'profile engine' is through sending your personal ID Documents !?!

This is not only unacceptable, but unethical...

This petition is for the right to pivacy in respects to facebook profiles - and for facebook to:
1. Negotiate control for us over existing information that we do not want made visible.
2. To agree to consult us in connection to our information, and profiles...
