Within the past two and half yrs, my daughter, who is 21 (at the time) had her gas turned on with South Jersey Gas. They did not ask for identification or the lease, if they would have, this wouldn't have happened.I also had a password on my account, which they also did not check.They have told me repeatedly, they will not get involved because it is a family thing. Shame on you South Jersey Gas Company. My daughter was allowed to run up a $937.00 gas bill.
