Keep Thanksgiving a Time of Thanks and to be with Family. Stop retail store openings on Thanksgiving

How many traditions do Americans really have anymore?  More and more stores are opening on Thanksgiving Day in order to be the first store to open to get the first dibs on holiday shoppers.  Thanksgiving was meant to be a time to be with family and friends for all Americans and to be thankful for what they already have.  Now it is slowly turning into a competition to see who can get the most sales and who can get the best deals at retail store locations.  As it is, many retail store employees work on holidays and now yet another day to spend with family and friends has been taken away from us.  Anybody who works in retail understands that they will be working most holidays when they start working at their respected store, but no one should expect to have to work on Thanksgiving.  Corporate greed is slowly taking away our values and traditions.  We need to put a stop to this and make it illegal for any retail store location to open on Thanksgiving Day, and keep it as a holiday for everyone in America, not a holiday shopping sideshow.  Thank You in advance for signing.
