Twitter has become a breeding group for predators to showcase and share pictures of toddlers and young children being raped, sexually abused, or exploited. Twitter's current policy regarding policing for pedophilic accounts is a non-policy. I.e., Twitter leaves it up to it's users to police the platform and report any accounts found to be distributing child pornography. However, since these accounts are often protected, regular Twitter users like you and I aren't in a position to report them. This is why it is so important for Twitter to get involved and start monitoring these protected accounts- specificaly those which have been identified by members of watchdog organizations as being suspect for distributing child pornography.
Twitter has already received a lot of heat in the press lately by refusing to significantly increase the mere $5,000 it contributes to combat child porn, even though it is set to be valued at more than $8billion.
TELL TWITTER IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBLITY TO MONITOR THE PLATFORM AND REPORT USERS FOUND TO BE DISTRIBUTING CHILD PORNOGRAPHT--NOT THE USERS!!
