Many people have love ones who have been indicted or convicted of crimes they did not commit. However, due to lack of funds or system corruption, their love ones remain in jail on a charge that they cannot get rid of. It is unfortunate that a lot of our men are set up and thrown in jail just because someone said they looked like the person who did the crime. Also, we have to depend on our officers to perform the photo rays with the victims without an impartial person. Who knows what really happened in that room to make that person say what they said. In addition, attorneys make more money if the case goes to trial, and the family cannot talk to the states attorney, therefore, what would make the attorney want to see the charges dropped. The person stays in jail, and if he has no money, he may not even come out of jail. We want impartial people in the interrogation rooms when victims are being questioned and when their pictures are being shown. We want families to be able to talk to the States Attorney to present evidence if it helps their loveones case. Yes, sign this petition to help our innocent people in jail.
