By signing below as a concerned citizen of our Nation we hereby request the immediate resignation of the appointed Board of Directors of the Nikan Awasisak Agency based on the following:
- Favoritism } hiring of the new executive director who's has no BSW or administration degree. Who was also fired for embezzling funds from a former CFS agency. Further more no outside party was involved in the hiring process. Any other agency would invite their leadership for the hiring.
- Forensic Audit is hereby called upon} why is the Chairman of the Board attending meetings with the A/Executive Director? Why is the Board attending meetings in Winnipeg? Why did the staff attend a retreat at Southbeach Casino? Where did the funds come from?
- Why did the Board of Directors further extend the director of finance's position? We have our own members who can carry out this role more effectively
- Why is the Board allowing the director of Finance to continue staying in our CFS trailor FREE of charge; we have so many of our members that are homeless
- We have a portfolio councillor for our Mandated Child & Family Services; has there been an invitation for this member to take part in any of the Board training If there was any?
- As a Board member you have to conduct yourself in a professional manner; a board member has been seen at a social event and around the community consuming alcohol Intoxicated at times Alot of our Children are in care for this reason. Our social problems stem from Parents abusing alcohol.
- We have seen CFS workers that are being hired with no qualifications to fulfill this role Again you are not to be consuming alcohol and seen in the community under an intoxicated state
- Why is there such a turn around in staff? Aren't we suppose to work in a healthy environment in order to help other people?
