Failure of Due Diligence to protect the safety of thecustomers and employee's of the bank

On March 10,2001 I entered the C&F Bank located at 100 E Williamsburg in Sandston, Virginia 23150 to make a deposit in my account. While doing so a man entered the branch wearing a large blue coat with a fur wrapped hood, a baseball cap pulled down low , sun glasses and showing a hand gun a threatened to put a cap in our ass. The man put the gun to one of the tellers face almost touching her nose with the weapon. When I saw the fear in that womans eyes and the violent  and threatning lanuage from this man i said to my self that this was not good  and somthing bad was going to happen. In the end I was shot  and suffered life threatning injuries, went through 3 major surjuries, loss half of my colon, part of my pelvis and and was in crittical care in MCV Hospital for three weeks. The medical bills accrued just from the hospital alone was in excess of over $200,000.00 alone. To this day I suffer from sever abdomanal pains,loss of feelings in my pelvis and still see the look in the fear in that womans eye.
The Defendants in this complaint  grossly failed in its due diligent responsiblities that are mandated under both State and Federal Laws governing Financial Institutions..
