The wind is blowing to hard in the Gulf Of Mexico, The unrest in The Middle East, how about the Speculators on Wall Street, manipulating the price of gas and oil. The list can go on adinfinitum. The bottom line, GREED. The price will keep going up as long as We The People let it. Gas goes up, food, clothing, medical supplies, all of our stables goes up. The American People are driving less and The United States is producing more oil than ever before in our history. I take responsbility for some of the high gas prices because I used to sit and say, nothing I can do about it. I was wrong. AT&T remove your tethering fees!!!
As many of you may be aware of, AT&T cut the unlimited data plans. With this, they began cracking down on unnofficial tethering. Anycache go tethers and doesn't stop, is automaticly signed up for a tethering plan, removing a pre existing unlimited plan. Why do they dI this? Not for "the fairness of all customers" but for money. Mosthor us with smartphones pay the $20 fee for data. Why should we pay $20 more for the simple right to do something we can already do? Please help me and thousands of others get AT&T to revoke this.

Call on COSO to test effectiveness of internal control framework
COSO has yet to demonstrate that its internal control framework is effective. It costs SEC filers hundreds of millions of dollars each year to comply with the current framework, without any evidence that it enhances internal control or improves corporate performance.
COSO has recently issued for public submission an exposure draft revising its 1992 document Internal Control – Integrated Framework. The period allowed for public submissions has now closed. The redraft does not represent a substantive change from the 1992 document.
Neither COSO nor the authors of the redraft on behalf of COSO have undertaken or cited any systemic attempt to review the efficacy of COSO’s approach to internal control. Before proceeding to issue the re-draft, COSO must demonstrate clearly and systematically that the present framework is broadly effective at BOTH (i) its original purpose – improving internal control of financial reporting – and (ii) its broader purpose of promoting internal control in other areas of organizations’ activities. Asking executives their opinion is, in itself, a valuable exercise but does not demonstrate efficacy empirically. We believe it is responsible to question the COSO framework’s performance against these sets of objectives in light of the financial crisis and its impact of the value of SEC filers from the financial sector and the impact of the subsequent economic crisis on filers in other sectors, across jurisdictions.

Prime Minister Gillard: Overhaul the Current Indigenous Jobs Strategy!

To start to heal these long-standing injustices towards indigenous Australians, we need government action to prod our society towards making noticeable change. The current jobs strategy has involved training programs that have not always provided skills sets that lead to a job. If the government makes sure that these programs are more effective and efficient use of the government's money, everyone wins.
But the Australian federal government has postponed indefinitely its plans to put in place a new model to help train indigenous Australians for the work force. Indigenous Australians have waited long enough for fairer opportunities.

*Starbucks does not consider Easter a holiday because it falls on a Sunday (a day when federal and state employees do not work).
*Starbucks employees are not allowed special "request off" priviledges nor do they receive holiday pay for working Easter day.
*Starbucks corporate employees are not required to work on Easter, because it falls on a Sunday. However, most Starbucks cafes are open seven days a week and cafe employees do not get this day off.
*Most malls, retails stores, and restaurants close on Easter.
*Help Starbucks employees receive fair compensation for working on a day considered to be a public holiday.

Where you purchase products can help determine job availability in your community!
We can't wait for governments to create jobs ... they've proven to be ineffective, inefficient, and overwhelmed by the task. The way to create jobs is for all of us (as consumers) to support our community (local) shops and businesses. Do your shopping at your locally owned businesses that are investing in your community, raising their families there, attending your schools, and have a vested interest in the health and welfare of your local community. If we prioritize our shopping first with locally owned businesses, then on regionally owned businesses, then national, and finally international conglomerates we can use our collective buying power to try to support businesses and job creation where it will do the most good ... in each of our own local communities.

Include LGBT content on AppleTV
Among it’s multiple functions, AppleTV has a large movie database that you can stream to your TV. Movies are grouped by categories and genre to facilitate browsing. While the category "Faith-Based Films" exists for the religiously inclined there is no corresponding "LGBT Films" category for the LGBT community. As Apple has chosen to identify and market “Faith-Based Films” they should be both interested and willing to do the same for the LGBT community as well.

What if Apple made one product in the US?
1. It would stimulate the economy and the thinking of new ideas in our work force including specialized training.
2. It would give Apple another 1st and give them another level of promotion that can’t be bought.
3. It might encourage other big businesses to follow suit.
4. It might make Americans proud again and help to unite our presently divided country.
5. It would be cheaper for government to partially subsidize the specialized kind of training to employ a generation of drop outs and keep them from going in and out of jail for life.
6. It would help define Steve Jobs’ successor, Tim Cook and the future of Apple in a very positive way.
7. It might help big business and the government to think in the long-term gains rather than the short-term stopgap method.
